About Us

General Equipments (Pvt) Ltd was started in 1979 by my grandfather M.S Mohamed Ali, an immigrant from India who had humble beginnings working as a salesman and decided to take the plunge into entrepreneurship by starting this trading company. His idea was to bring high-quality tools, machinery, and hardware items from around the world to Sri Lanka. In addition, creating employment opportunities and be at the forefront of charitable causes in our local community.As the third generation in the family business, we hope to continue his legacy.
